Beatrice Lamwaka is a higly esteemd contemporary african writer from Uganda. We met on a residency at Künstlerdorf Schöppingen. On the basis of this first exchange we applied together for the programm ‚artist contacts‘ at ifa – Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen. We are very happy that our proposal VUtopia was selected for funding. Both we hope that we will be able to meet and work in Kampala over this very special year….
